The ice will melt between them...in one hot night.
When Rachel returns to her hometown for the Christmas holiday, she doesn't expect to be stranded alone in an ice storm with David Harris. David is her brother's best friend, and she's known him all her life. She lost her virginity to him. And he's the one man she can never forgive.
Despite all the reasons she has not to trust him, she finds herself falling for him again. It doesn't matter how irresistible she still finds him, she definitely plans to resist.
But then everything changes in only one night.

Unfortunately I didn’t like the voice characterisations – of the heroine in particular. She sounded like a shrew. A lot. I love the enemies-to-lovers romance novel trope, but you can have that without a warring, shrill sound being fired incessantly toward the hero, and him sounding annoying in return.
I was left wondering if reading the Kindle version to myself might have resulted in a more romantic experience because the narration here lowered my enjoyment of the story somewhat.
My suggestion is: if you find the narration not to your liking, know that the story is satisfying in the end and the wait is only about 2 hours.
Not my favourite narration.
