Hits the Cozy Fantasy Mark Perfectly

The author achieved a pleasant balance of forward moving plot, likable characters, and charming setting. The author’s characters in his other books are usually snarky to a fault, so it was refreshing to read dialogue that was still clever with only moderate amounts of sass.

Great characters & fun story

This one is another winner! Nazri, I love your books! Can’t wait for the next one to come out. The absolute coziness and cuteness of this had me smiling all the way through. And the narrator nailed it! 💕

Bromance lite

As a fiber artist, I hoped to find some content. I was disappointed, though the author may have kept it simple for the non-crafters in the audience. I found the gay romance distracting. And I'm getting tired of dungeon crawls, so I guess I'll have to search a little harder for my next fantasy read. There's nothing wrong with this book, just not enough right.
