AI narration always stinks but this one wasn't nearly as bad as it could be and I think the story made up for it. This is the perfect story for thriller fans who also happened to be obsessed with Christmas

Surprisingly Splendid Enough

Splendid little novella with a decent story. Although it was AI narrated, it wasn’t nearly as bad as the other review claims. I’ve heard some dreadful, robotic AI narrations that I had to DNF because I couldn’t get through it.

Regarding the story, I always appreciate the change in narrators POV. The story was decently suspenseful and kept my attention throughout. I’ll definitely read more from this author.

Just bad altogether

It has bad storyline -didn’t make sense, jumped around didn’t flow - terrible AI voices so robotic like a bad Alexa

Terrible AI Read

The storyline was interesting but the AI voice was terrible. Incorrect pronunciation of words and completely lacking inflection and tone. Perhaps the paperback would have been a better choice. I won’t read this author again for a long while (or any other author who utilizes AI voice for Audible books). Complete waste of time to listen on Audible. Doesn’t get better- and in fact, actually got worse as the book went on.

Terrible & boring!

This book offers nothing! It is boring & just stupid. There are no thoughts put together to make a story. I feel like someone vomited a lot of words on paper & thought they had a book.
Don’t bother wasting your time.
