For the past ten years, ever since leaving her ex-boyfriend and the father of her twins, Celine Smith has been on the move. It’s not easy raising two kids on her own, especially with limited job opportunities and increasing responsibilities, but she does what she can. Even if it means relocating every now and then.
But it’s happened for the last time. She’s moved to Hollybrook, her hometown, this Christmas. It’s been an eternity since she was last here, and the town’s changed considerably, but returning should make life easier for her and the twins.
What she isn’t expecting is to bump into her high school crush. Or to end up working for him.
Danny McGuire isn’t the same boy she used to sneak glances at decades ago. He’s more mature now, more handsome, not to mention a billionaire. He’s the perfect man. Still, after what Celine’s been through with her ex, the last thing she wants is to catch feelings for yet another wealthy man—or her employer, for that matter.
All Celine wants is some peace and stability in her life, and if working as his personal assistant and helping him organize his Christmas party will provide that, she’s more than willing to do it.
But this Christmas promises to be full of more surprises than anticipated.
Authors Note: This is a clean, stand-alone romance with an HEA. If you love sweet cozy romances you will love A Hollybrook Christmas Romance series.

2. why is it always about organizing a Christmas party?
3. it's really hard to like your own sassy 15 year olds, I don't know how someone instantly gets liking someone else's sass centrals, especially when they show up as a babysitting package with their mom
4. it feels like it's more about the guy being rich from the teens acceptance point of view
5. AI voice does something to my brain and ears
But, ...
1. it's definitely a feel good story
2. I stumbled upon it because I was searching for a small town feel good clean Christmas romance and not a realistic philosophical and logically accurate fiction, and it delivered in the promise. I could make it through half the chapters and did feel curious about the end enough to listen through, so I'd call it a win.
cliche celebrations but you get no surprises
