One whispered word in front of the entire class changed everything."Good girl, Candace."

Professor Gabriel Caldwell’s voice was meant for lectures, not the filthy praise he growls against her skin that same night.

When ambitious, scholarship-dependent grad student Candace Ferraro accidentally calls the stern, silver-fox Fine Arts chair “Daddy” during critique, she expects professional ruin.

Instead, she gets claimed—hard, often, and in ways that leave her shaking and begging for more.

He’s forty-one, controlled to the point of obsession, and freshly divorced.

She’s twenty-six, hungry for success, and suddenly starving for the one man who can destroy her future.

What starts as a dangerous game of stolen office hours and locked doors becomes an addiction neither can quit. Praise, possession, late-night grading sessions that end with her bent over his desk and his handprint on her ass—every filthy, perfect moment pulls them deeper.

Until one broken rule leaves her pregnant, his ex-wife circling like a shark, and the entire department ready to burn them both at the stake.

He was never supposed to be forever.
She was never supposed to be his good girl for life.

Now he’ll tear the ivory tower down brick by brick to keep what’s his.

A filthy-sweet, age-gap, professor/student romance with praise, suspense, and an unbreakable HEA. If you like your heroes possessive, brilliant, and completely undone by the one woman who calls him Daddy without shame—this one will ruin you in the best way.

I was expecting another usual age-gap, erotic romance story with inappropriate and questionable student-professor, borderline-illegal relationship, but was pleasantly surprised by this book, Daddy Issues by Meg Watson. The story has a remarkable heart and soul from the 2 main characters with undeniable love connection that was based on their true emotions and similar intellectual passions. I'm happy to say that this is the first time I've actually listened to a book by this author that didn't have too much sexual explicit content but instead concentrated on the build-up of the storyline that kept my attention until the end of the book, wishing for a little longer in the end because i wasn't ready to say goodbye to the story yet. I just wish that it wasn't a virtual voice speaking, because sometimes I get lost and confused as to whose perspective it is from that I'm listening to. Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot and would totally recommend it. Don't let the title mislead you thinking it will be one of those dirty books. It's actually pretty clean! 😉
