Well done but ends with cliffhanger

I liked the premise of the book. Nerdy IT genius, easily distracted by work, and in need of a partner. Along comes llama farmer who tries to be guarded against the “beautiful” IT genius as he has a strong caretaker need.

Story starts with action and moves along at good pace.

I really enjoyed this book until the ending. I do not like cliffhangers. I do not books with unresolved issues at the end. I will not buy another book in this series. Bummer.
