Lucas is thrilled when his grandmother comes to live with him. She’s his best friend after Justin from down the street. Addressing difficult subjects with children

I loved the perspective of the seven year old boy, his honesty and curiosity. Through him difficult subjects like death, honesty, and relationships are addressed and talked about. I recommend this book to read with children going through a hard time.
