Sir Richard calls DCI Billings of Scotland Yard, who calls Major Heathcliff Lennox and ex Inspector Jonathan Swift, and orders them to go and find out what the devil is going on.

Major Heathcliff Lennox - ex WW1 war pilot, 6feet 3inch, tousled dark blond hair, age around 30 – named after the hero of Wuthering Heights by his romantically minded mother – much to his great annoyance.

the story was great as all in this series are (as well as her other works) and I was SO GLAD S.D.P was back as the narrator!!! love his voice!!!

As with the others in the series that Sam has narrated, absolute perfection! Interesting storyline as always!

Intriguing plot. Superbly voiced

Glad to have Sam back narrating Ms Menuhin's 19th book. The mishaps at the clan gathering grabs the reader with the first page. Turmoil begins with one murder and continues as more bodies are discovered. Who will end up being the new laird. Can the so-called heirs decide?

Glad to have the original narrator back

and very much enjoyed the Scottish setting and backstory. Looking forward to the next book.
