A 1920s Christmas Country House Murder Mystery, an uplifting festive listen
Downton Abbey meets Agatha Christie with a touch of Wodehouse and a dog of distinction.
Book 1 in the Heathcliff Lennox series
It's 1920 and Christmas is coming. Major Lennox finds a body on his doorstep — why on his doorstep? Was it to do with the Countess? Was it about the ruby necklace? Lennox goes to Melrose Court, home to his uncle, Lord Melrose, to uncover the mystery. But then the murders begin and it snows and it all becomes very complicated....
Major Heathcliff Lennox — ex WW1 war pilot, 6feet 3inch, tousled dark blond hair, age around 30 – named after the hero of Wuthering Heights by his romantically minded mother – much to his great annoyance.

Absolute best narrator!

This cozy is unlike many others that I've read/ listened to, as the characters and plot are intricately developed . Red herrings along the way keep the reader engaged till the very end!
A new favorite author and series 😍!
Such a Delightful Story!

Karen Menuhin writes a very good story with intrigue, humor, and insight. The characters are wonderful and come alive through the voice performance of Sam Dewhurst-Philips.
I'm looking forward to more from both the author and the voice actor.
Engaging Story and Near Perfect Performance!
