Full of humility & honestly

Cheryl Hines wrote a beautiful memior about her life. I enjoyed listening to the ups and downs in her life and how she humbly and bravely weathered life's storms. As I have learned in my life, happiness is a choice.

Portrait of a Comic Arist

This audio tape feels like a phone call with a friend who has amazing stories to tell and tells them with heart and humor. I felt as if I got to know and understand Cheryl, and her amazon trip from a middle class life to great success due to talent and hard work. The American Dream.

Hines’ Sight is 20/20

Cheryl’s lifetime of tenacity and resilience is very eloquently shared in stories that span from childhood to present day. Her stories are told in her own voice and are delivered in a way that a manuscript has the same vulnerability of the improvisation she so masterfully delivers on the screen.

This is very easily my favorite read of 2025. Left me feeling like I’d caught up with an old friend. An old friend that I’d definitely help with holiday turkey duty, but I’d never let give me a perm.

Loved the book especially that it was narrated by Cheryl!

This was such an easy book to listen to. Cheryl did such a good job on narration and i really enjoyed the book.

What a wonderful book. I really enjoyed learning more about Cheryl Hines’ background and getting a glimpse into some of the inner workings of the Kennedy family. What stayed with me most, though, is her remarkable grace under fire. She carries herself with such dignity and strength. Much respect.
