Loved it!

I absolutely loved Walker and Morgan’s story! I love this series so much. It’s easy for me to get sucked into this world because I too am an emergency room nurse and the accuracy of these stories is amazing to me. Either Lexie herself is as well or her research is flawless. It’s nice to fall into a story that I can 100% relate with. And then adding a smoking hot love story into it really does it for me! Maxine and JF Harding narrate the audiobook, taking it even more to the next level!

Morgan and Walker

Dr. Fellow is my favorite book in this series so far. This is book three in the series and follows Morgan and Walker. Walker is newly divorced and has sworn off relationships, but after meeting Morgan, he can't seem to get the "little devil" out of his mind.

Morgan and Walker are the perfect match. Morgan is a badass nurse with a fun and sassy personality. She is quick-witted, and her comebacks were epic. She has no problem challenging anyone, especially Walker. Walker is an orthopedic surgeon preparing to start his fellowship. This man is the perfect book boyfriend. He initially seems a little closed off and a lot broody, but as we learn more about his past, we begin to understand why he is the way he is.

These two had amazing chemistry, and the tension between them was palpable. I couldn't wait for them to finally give in to each other. Let me tell you, when they finally did, it was HOT. The spice was spicin' in this book. The mouth on this man! MY GOODNESS! There is so much to love about this book - the Vegas experience, the first "my wife" moment, Walker reading books recommended by Morgan, the bookstore date, the kink exploration, and the amazing friend group.

Dr. Fellow gave me all the Grey's Anatomy vibes and made me nostalgic about my time in Atlanta. I loved being able to recognize street names and landmarks, especially Flip Flops. That place was an experience! IYKYK. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read more about the Midtown Memorial crew.

Narration:
Maxine Mitchell and J.F. Harding performed this audiobook in duet, and I loved every second of it. They were the perfect voices for Morgan and Walker, and really brought the characters to life. Maxine and J.F. brought the emotion, banter, and the heat. Hearing that first "my wife" made me so giddy. It was fun having Morgan, Walker, and their shenanigans in my ears.

Whew! I did not know I needed a romance book version of Grey's Anatomy people, except make it happen in spicy-spicy town!🔥 This is my first book by Lexie & I most certainly will need more of these medical doctors & their shenanigans.

Walker is just coming off a divorce. He really has no desire to have another relationship but once he meets Morgan, all bets are off. All he thinks about is that "little devil."😉 Morgan is a true badace FMC. She's snarky and sassy and boy does she light Walker's fire!

Walker is an orthopedic surgeon, Morgan is an RN and their paths cross constantly. She's got one quick-witted comment after another and challenges him on every turn. Walker seems a bit closed off & kind of broody but as the story moves along , you begin to understand why he comes off that way.

These two really make a great pair and have chemistry literally oozing from every pore! When they SNAP, watch out ya'll because Lexi writes the spice that hits & burns! My gosh! I was constantly checking my earbuds to make sure they were paired up!🙊

These two head to Vegas for a wedding & wake up married. No memory of what happened. There's a "my wife" moment, "you're mine," and Morgan trying with all her might to get a divorce. 😂 The medical vibes be vibin' and the spice be spicin' and that's all there is to it!

🎤Let's talk narration: Holy Cow, J.F. Harding was about my undoing in this! He was perfect as Walker, the somewhat guarded & uptight doctor but this man liked his K*nk, let me tell you! If J.F. is speaking, I'm listening & LOVING it! He's so perfect at being sweet & sensitive but sinful & naughty! IYKYK! Maxine was absolutely PERECT at voicing the sassafras Morgan. Her sharp humor was spot-on and had me giggling! She really put Walker through it. Their chemistry was seriously OFF THE CHARTS folks! I blushed too many times to count.

If you love a Grey's Anatomy vibe with HOT doctors, doing HOT things, then definitely pick this one up in audio. The narration just can't be beat!

My favorite of the series so far!

I’ve been experiencing this series for the first time through my earbuds, and happy invested in this imaginary world at Midtown Memorial. Lexie Woods is a new-to-me author this year, and I am finding that she has the perfect prescription for a listener looking for smart, hot spice with male main characters who are a little tortured and a whole lot swoony.

Dr. Fellow is book three of the series, and it would be best understood if you read them in order (it really explains the nuances of the relationships featured). This story focuses on Walker and Morgan and the happy little accident they have in Vegas.

Maxine Mitchell and JF Harding perform this audiobook in duet style, and I was unprepared for the level of spicy enemies-to-lovers that was slated for my earbuds. Spoiler alert, I was not disappointed. Both actors handle their respective feisty characters with charm, wit, and a healthy dose of sexual tension.

Maxine is Morgan — a nurse with a wild steadiness about her that makes her a fierce advocate for her patients and a loyal friend. Maxine is always perfection the role of a strong woman — she really envelopes the fierce feistiness of Morgan without making her seem petulant or immature. Maxine helps Morgan find her softness and vulnerability, and it is such a gift that she could show is a side of Morgan that deserves to be seen.

JF voices Walker, who just might have become my favorite medical professional at Midtown Memorial. My favorite male main characters have a broody layer to them, thanks to a failed relationship, and it leaves them guarded. That is Walker — he’s closed himself off until his proximity to Morgan begins to peel it all away. Don’t even get me started on the words that come out of this man’s mouth. Spicy, indeed.

This was a brilliant enemies-to-lovers romance. I enjoy how Lexie allows the characters to move within the space of the story — the chemistry exists and is allowed to morph and grow within each character’s timeline. I particularly enjoyed how the Dom/Sub dynamic was portrayed and performed. It felt realistic and believable, and was a bond that just fit Morgan and Walker.

Must-Listen Medical, Accidental Marriage Deliciousness!

Dr. Fellow is the third audiobook in Lexie Woods’ Midtown Memorial series and is an accidental marriage story that takes place in a hospital setting. Although this is the third book in the series, you do not have to have read or listened to the first two books to thoroughly enjoy this story. This was my first book in the series, and I absolutely adored it! Walker, an orthopedic surgeon at the hospital, is recently divorced and still grieving that loss. The last thing he wants is a new relationship after feeling like he failed so completely at his last one. Enter the sassy, snarky, and sexy bane of his existence, Morgan, who is an RN in the emergency room and also not a fan of relationships. She practically makes a career out of putting him in his place. Their banter is seriously next level! Walker wants nothing to do with her on a personal level. Too bad his body is clearly not on the same page as his head, because their physical chemistry is sizzling! Just as they both finally decide to give in to their desire and start a physical relationship, apparently all it takes is one drunken night in Vegas to have them tripping down the aisle to matrimony. And Walker is not about to be divorced for a second time, much to Morgan’s consternation. This couple’s road to an HEA is emotional, passionate, romantic, fiery, and a whole lot of kinky! It is, quite honestly, perfection.

Adding to the overall deliciousness of this story is the duet-style narration from the uber-talented duo of Maxine Mitchell and JF Harding. Maxine Mitchell proves once again exactly why she is the queen, voicing Morgan perfectly by portraying this character’s sassy, independent nature while still revealing the softness and vulnerability beneath her snarky exterior. And JF Harding just never disappoints! His portrayal of the sexy, dirty-talking doctor harboring a broken heart is absolutely everything a romance audio girly could ask for. He and Maxine Mitchell brought Walker and Morgan (and this entire story) to life oh, so beautifully. A wonderfully-written story coupled with outstanding narration equals an absolute must listen!
