What an amazing start to the new series!

Brynne Asher, you absolutely nailed the start of this brand-new series, The Manor. What a wild ride Beautiful Revenge was. It’s a suspenseful romance with sharp wit, betrayal, and tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. Harlow was such an incredible FMC with a backbone made of steel. And Devon, this man, with his stalker tendencies (IYKYK), broodiness, and protectiveness, had me completely falling in love with him. Beautiful Revenge had me hooked from start to finish, and I can’t wait to see what Brynne Asher has in store for the rest of the series.

Samantha Brentmoor and James Joseph gave a fantastic duet-style narration performance of Beautiful Revenge. Samantha Brentmoor is quickly becoming one of my favorite female narrators. And James Joseph’s accent was simply captivating! Every time he uttered the word “Baby” in that British accent, my love for him grew a little stronger.

This narration is pure magic!

Oh my gosh, this book absolutely blew me away! The mix of tension, emotion, and that spark between the characters that only Brynne Asher can give me, was exactly what I wanted. Her writing always feels real and raw, like I’m right there with them through every look and bad decision that somehow makes sense. I couldn’t stop reading/listening because I had to know how it would all shake out.

I loved how the heavy moments were balanced with genuine heart. The intensity was not done in an over the top way, just the kind that made me feel every bit of it. By the end, I was a complete mess, in the best way, grinning, teary eyed, and ready to hit replay just so I could experience it all over again.

The narrators in this audiobook were phenomenal! Samantha Bretmoor and James Joseph were hands down the best I’ve ever heard. From the very first line, they didn’t just pull me into the story, they ripped me out of real life and dropped me right into the middle of it. Every emotion, every pause, every breath felt alive. It wasn’t just listening, it was experiencing the story as if I were standing beside the characters, watching it all unfold. This duet performance was cinematic! So vivid and powerful I could see every scene play out in my mind. Truly, this wasn’t narration, it was art.

Great story but ending is weird

Loved the team these two became. The ending messed up everything though with her surgery and brother like what happened. It annoyed me and made me want to give less stars for a review.

What an adventure!!

I loved every bit of this wild ride from Brynne Asher. It’s a fantastic start to a series. Plus, she manages to weave in a few familiar characters seamlessly. I will never complain when some of my favorite Killers make an appearance.

Harlow is deemed an ‘American Princess’ and is at The Manor for her wedding. However, she’s decided there will be no marriage. Devon is the stand in bride’s assistant and begrudgingly helps her call off the nuptials. Devon is a former secret agent whose cover was blown and is now the owner of The Manor. He soon discovers that Harlow is not the spoiled princess he assumed, and he’s intrigued. Their chemistry is immediate, and the tension is ramped up.

Duet narration by James Joseph and Samantha Brentmoor and they killed it. I was riveted and could not stop listening. With a British MC and side characters, these two switched between accents flawlessly. James also had so many different characters and he differentiated between them perfectly. He was amazing as the British former agent who is struggling to keep the Manor running while keeping Madison safe. Samantha portrayed Madison’s strength as she decided to take back her life. I just loved everything about these performances.

The twists and turns kept coming and I loved it. There is a great cast of supporting characters that add to the story, including a former mortuary worker, who is always surprised when things happen at The Manor, that would never happen at the mortuary. There are glimpses of possible future storylines and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
