Once upon a time, there lived a sarcastic young man named Kellan Thorne. He met a mentor, was greeted by archangels, became a Sentinel of Creation, and married the love of his life, Shannon McLeod.
Kellan and Shannon had many grand adventures, and together with their friends, once even saved the world entire.
If you ask them, though, they will both say their greatest adventure rests with family.
Within this book you'll be given a glimpse into the most magical night. A night where angels gather, and a young boy, the first scion of amber light, receives the greatest of gifts...A Sister for Christmas.
Author's Note: This short story is the second in my annual series of Christmas stories created for Patrons. I hope it brings as much joy to you as it has for them.

Basically, you can't go wrong with this little gem. I especially like the winks and nods to Ariel's temperament. For those of us who have listened to Ariel's full length first-person novel, "An Enforcer of Havilah," we already know she's going to be quite a handful.
It's also incredibly sweet to see how young William Thorne loves and protects his baby sister even before she's born. So, if you want some Christmas cheer with both laughs and some heartfelt "Awwww..." moments, look no farther than this story.
Ho Ho Ho! What A Christmas Story.

It’s warm without being cheesy, heartfelt without being shallow, and meaningful without trying too hard. Robert W. Ross has a gift for writing characters you immediately care about, and this book is no exception—it feels personal, sincere, and quietly impactful.
Whether you’re already invested in Ariel’s journey or just want a holiday story with real substance, this one delivers. I finished it smiling, reflective, and genuinely glad I’d listened.
Perfect for the season—but honestly, it works any time of year.
Heartwarming, meaningful, and unexpectedly powerful
