A NEW RELEASE for 2025!

A bold, fresh tale of sword & sorcery, fantasy and horror.

Navarro, a captain of the Spanish Conquistadores is determined to loot the temple of the God of the Night.

Only a native princess and a Catholic priest can stop him.

If they fail, a demon deadlier than any creature known to man will be unleashed on the earth.

It will kill everyone who has stolen the cursed gold, and it will not be satisfied until it has feasted on their very souls.

This epic tale combines Robert E. Howard's sword and sorcery with H.P. Lovecraft's atmospheric horror.

This audiobook is the reason why Audible exists! If I had bought the paperback version, I would have missed half of the experience. From the very first moment I clicked play, it made me feel like a child again. The cover reminded me of those point-and-click adventures from the 90s, and the music perfectly matches that vibe. The characters are memorable, Navarro, Father Dominguez, Princess Tayanna, they all feel like the cast of a computer adventure I used to love. And the inclusion of the Chupacabra is amazing for us Latin Americans!

The narration is wonderful, clear even for non-native English speakers, well-acted, and with such a soothing sound quality that I could listen to it all day. I played it in one sitting while doing other things, and I think it’s perfect for relaxing or even falling asleep.

OMG I love it!

A fun story

Familiar flavors of sword & sorcery and otherworldly monsters, but also a unique blend of historical settings and realistic characters.
And the ending was like an homage to Stoker's Dracula. Yet in a way I didn't see coming.
I enjoyed going on the perilous journey with these characters in an exotic land.
With a narrating style that features clever, descriptive, colorful wording rather than profane, cheap shocks.
Highly recommended for fans of this genre looking for an escape about the same length as a movie.

An exciting return to swords & mysterious monsters

This audiobook has a cool feel to it. Mysterious, dark, dangerous and adventurous.
Perfect for fans of sword and sorcery.
The music and the author/narrator were also great for this story.

Escape to Cimmeria by way of Ancient America

I went along for the ride. And I went back in time to the ancient pyramids of Central America.
Everything about this production was cool. There are a lot of welcome vibes from the classic Weird Tales stories, yet it is also wholly original.
You'll know what I mean when you give it a listen.
Five scary stars!
