Fabulous listen!! Loved it!

John is back in town to do something with the land that he has inherited. The plan is to build a resort. Lily, the mayor is a little concerned and is determined to show him just how using the assets of Black Wolf's Bluff will make it the success he wants and benefit her town. As they spend time together though, things change. Feelings between these two grow, and while it's about the good of the town, the budding relationship is growing. There are obstacles though. John isn't staying in town if things go his way. Build the resort and it will run. So should they get involved? Then there is the townspeople that don't want it and will go to any extreme to cause a problem. Where does it all lead? This is the kind of book I truly enjoy. A mature couple with common goals and chemistry. Can't beat this! The witty banter is on point and all around makes the story so exciting!

Oliver Highpoint and Willa Jaymes are the story tellers for this one, and a better casting could not have been made. Highpoint is John, and while he can be a tough guy at times, he is a marshmallow at heart. His voice is has the perfect sound for John. Jaymes is Lily, a strong and independent woman with every nuance coming through with emphasis. She is passionate about her job and John, and it's evident in each scene. This is fabulous narration and fun listen.
