When unexpected debris from outer space crashes onto their peaceful planet, the Clangers explore these strange arrivals with curiosity and wonder. While shooting off fireworks, the Clangers accidentally hit an Iron Chicken flying in space. The family quickly collects the scattered pieces to reconstruct the shambles of the metallic stranger. Once assembled, the Iron Chicken begins to wreak havoc on the Clangers' planet. Tiny Clanger demonstrates compassion by giving her a lovely necklace explaining how she should behave. The Iron Chicken responds by giving Tiny an iron egg and flies away to her nest. Through generosity and kindness, the Clangers make a new friend.
