Love the narrator!

I had the pleasure of listening to this book first, but the audio really brings it to life. Narrator has a soothing voice that I really enjoyed. Following Pain, Death, Sorrow, Revenge, Pleasure, Life, Fury, Peace, Joy, and Mercy through one of their own fallen for a mortal which is forbidden.

The fates were spot on. It feels like slot of love and research went into this story.

It was a slow burn building up to the second book, I cant wait for it to be released!

I enjoyed this book so much that I had to listen to the audio! the performance was absolutely stunning. I can't wait for the future books in all formats, but this audio already deserves a relisten!

I loved it

Whew this was perfect!!! I already read the story a few weeks ago and truly loved the unique storyline but when I saw it had the audio released in audible I knew I had to give it a listen. I loved it even more and listening just drew me in to the world with Eira and Adrian even more. The narrator was perfect for Eira 🩵 if you haven’t read or listened to this story yet u highly suggest you grab it now! The prequel, The Mourner’s Song is also available now ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This story starts off with a bang you’re immediately dropped into a world woven with divine laws, destiny threads, and emotions that hit deep. The writing feels lyrical and intentional, like a tapestry being crafted right in front of you.

We follow Adrian, a mortal artist who can see the threads of fate, and Eira, the Sovereign of Peace, one of ten powerful immortals who maintain balance in the world. Their love is forbidden, dangerous, and high-stakes in every sense. If Eira breaks the ancient laws of the Sovereigns, the consequences echo far beyond just their hearts.

I loved the emotional tone of the writing. It’s soft and heavy all at once beautifully crafted, beautifully felt. The world-building around the Sovereigns (peace, death, mercy, revenge, etc.) was unique and atmospheric, though as the first book in the series, you can tell it’s setting a foundation for bigger things to come.
