Bikers have the best life. Being a member of the Shadow Vipers comes with certain perks and privileges. First, everyone fears you. Nobody wants to mess with a member of a local biker gang, especially one with a certain reputation. Secondly, everyone finds you sexy as…well, let’s just say we have no problem finding company. I’ll admit, I’ve had my fair share of the ladies. But all that changed the moment I bumped into him. I don’t know what it is, but something about him has got me thinking all sorts of dirty thoughts. It’s new and exciting, but the more I get to know him, the more I realize he’s hiding something. I’m not sure what, but it’s clear that something has him…scared.

Working at a biker bar is torture. The customers are loud, rude, and out of control. So are the workers. But that’s not the worst part. The worst part is being hardcore attracted to the smoking hot bouncer, who is covered in tattoos and has muscles the size of my head. How can I be so attracted to someone yet totally afraid of them at the same time? Oh, did I mention that the guy is straight? Yup. Leave it to me to fall for a guy who is totally unattainable. Well, it’s a good thing that I’m not looking for love. Right now, I am just trying to stay two steps ahead of my past.

Great story

this is my first experience with this author and he, combined with Michael Dean, make an excellent pairing. I liked the small Espionage element as the culmination to the book. the characters are very well drawn and has one of my favorite tropes which is protector/protectee.

Biker romance

first time with a guy biker romance. Michael Dean does a wonderful job with the narration.
