Iced lattes, awkward exes, and one unexpected murder—just another summer in Silver Pines.

Summer’s on the way in Silver Pines, and things should be heating up in all the right ways—sunny days, fresh blooms, and steady progress at The Mill, where Clare Garner is finally catching her breath after two back-to-back murder cases. Her custom furniture orders are flowing in and she’s learning to navigate the comfortable, if complicated, rhythm of life between Jackson Barrett and Blake Catalano—two kindhearted men who both know her better than she sometimes knows herself.

But when a coffee world insider winds up dead mid-sip at an iced coffee tasting hosted by the Sunrise Sips Coffee Club, the summer vibe curdles—and Clare is once again caught in a swirl of secrets and suspicion.

With the rumor mill spinning faster than a ceiling fan in July and secrets tucked behind every hedgerow, Clare finds herself juggling gossip, romance, and a growing list of suspects. Between poring over clues, dodging well-meaning matchmakers, and trying not to spill sawdust on her favorite sundress, she’ll need all her intuition—and maybe a few iced lattes—to figure out who’s hiding what.

Because in Silver Pines, the charm’s brewed just right—but the secrets tend to spill over like a clumsy barista.

Clare, Jackson, Blake, and Pate return once more, along with Lucy the dog. This time, they embark on a murder mystery within the coffee world. As always, the dual narrative in the audiobook is exceptional, effectively bringing the story to life. The story is an easy and enjoyable read, with a smooth flow.

How can you not love a book set around coffee 😊

The Cozy town of Silver Pines is back with Clare investigating a new murder to solve! I absolutely love these books. They are cozy and mysterious and just a fun, easy, fast audiobook that I enjoy listening to while doing some housework.

I really enjoyed this one just as much as I did the first book! I love the fact that these can be read as a standalone even though they are interconnected.

The audiobook is great and kept me engaged!
The dual narration was fun and super delightful to listen to! Narrators Eleanor Caudill & Sebastian York did a great job at bringing this story to life!
I seriously could listen to these two all day long!

I enjoy the fact that this one kept me guessing on who did what and why until the very ending!!

If you are looking for a cozy small town murder mystery book to get lost into for a few hours then this one is for you!

A perfect cozy mystery to sip alongside your favorite drink. Clare Garner is back juggling gossip, romance, and sleuthing when a coffee club member drops dead mid-sip.

The pacing is quick, the suspects intriguing, and the romance subplot continues to simmer without overshadowing the mystery. Lyla Blue delivers another charming installment that blends humor, heart, and suspense.

The dual narration by Eleanor Caudill and Sebastian York adds so much charm to the story. Caudill captures Clare’s warmth and wit beautifully, while York brings depth to the supporting cast. Together, they make Silver Pines feel even more alive, turning this cozy mystery into an engaging listen that’s as delightful as the story itself.

This is my favorite of the three, something about it just grabbed me a bit more than the other two books, which are still great reads!

Clare, Jackson, Blake, and Lucy the dog are back for more amateur sleuthing when a body is discovered amongst the excitement for a coffee truck festival. Things heat up quickly with so many out-of-towners around and plenty of accusations being made. Things are also heating up between Clare and her love interests, Jackson and Blake, though the stories contain no spice. The plot is charming, fast-paced, and feels like being in the middle of a Hallmark-style mystery.

As with the last two books, Eleanor Caudill and Sebastian York do an incredible job narrating. Eleanor has a voice made for all things cozy and warm, and she is the perfect fit for this series. Sebastian lends his voice well to a wide cast of characters.

My favorite of the three!

Silver Pines is hosting a food truck festival that pairs a coffee truck with a food truck. There are lots of visitors to town and some of the visitors are staying at Clare's new boutique hotel. This includes Tatum, a self proclaimed coffee expert and influencer. When she is found dead behind a coffee truck, after she posted a negative video online, Clare and Blake begin to investigate, because the video makes it seem that one of her dear friends could have had a reason to kill her.
A great story that kept me guessing to the end. I also enjoyed the performance.
