Wtf (in a good way)

I have never hated a cliffhanger so much!! I literally cannot wait for the next book! This series is truly amazing and I love how each book shows the depth of each MMC and what their past was like. Though there are times where I wish Aurelia would shift into something other than an eagle(I know it’s her comfort form) but she has so many other options to help her. I grew to love Scythes character in this one and all my theories about him and his past made me feel sad that it was all true. He deserves all the love along with Savage and Lyle. Ghoul and Xander better do some hard core groveling in the next books because wtf bro. And the production is next level!! Love this audio!!

I’ve not loved a story that broke my heart just as much as this

So many have spoken of the heartache this series induces…and this part of the story is no different…
The FMC truly is a Queen of not just her own court; continuing to be broken by her mates yet filled with determination to overcome the nefarious imaginings of her enemies. She loves her friends and learns to love her mates so fiercely, it makes my own heart ache.
I loved Savage from Book 1, but I almost knew Scythe would take my heart as well. E.P. Bali did me in with this one. Yes, each book in the series seems to set a main focus on the FMC’s building relationship with one of her 5 mates. Book 3 was Scythe’s turn and GODS did it do me in!!! He is truly like the ocean. Deep, dark and ruthless. He can rip apart, break and drown…but he is also beautiful and poetic. Able to heal and leave you in awe of just BEING.
I cried SO MUCH MORE in this book lol even though the previous 2 brought me to tears a lot, as well, at the UNFAIRNESS for the FMC. The ONLY reason I was able to make it through THIS book…was the little reminder at the bottom of the “About” section, that says The story ends in a HEA smh fffffffkkkkk I was ready to call it after this; kick rocks and leave it up to Reddit for spoilers and details rofl 🤣 cause I sure as hell didn’t think my heart could handle much more.

Ok, :deep breath: the flashbacks and character building has been such phenomenal writing in these first 3 books, I was truly in awe here. How the FMC shares in THIS book’s MMC’s journey and they are guided to walk together….bravo E.P. Bali, bravo. This truly was a beautiful story.

All of that being said…. I’m scared for the last 2 books. Having seen so many reviews that they were rushed…..I’m at a place (after book 3) where I NEED to see the HEA brought forth. I’m ok with a rush. Honestly I think my heart will appreciate it hahaha CAUSE I’M DONE CRYING. I AM sad that I’ll have to go with the written version…Audible has helped me get SO much done lol it’s ok though, an HEA must be had and I still have a week left of my medical leave (survey I’m thankful for in more ways that one).

Just keeps getting better!

This book is so intense, action packed, and spicy! I had been waiting for this to come out and I was not disappointed at all.

Excellent continuation where the plot thickens, betrayals, hurt, emotional damage, it has it all.

11/10 highly recommend. Definitely need to read/listen to the books before this one as major spoilers.

Couldn't put the book down!

The voice actors are perfect for the story. The story has perfect twists and turns and keeps you engaged in the book the whole time.
