What a way to introduce a new series. We met Darby and Tucker in previous books and to see them have their own book was perfect!

Darby deserved her HEA. She went through so much in her life never feeling safe and secure aside from what Holden could offer her as her big brother. She stepped out of her comfort zone with Tucker and it was amazing. Tucker so sweet and patient with Darby I loved him for her.

The there Hendrix family is great. I cannot wait to see the rest of their story’s unfold. The narration for this was great. Samantha Brentmoor and Sebastian York did a phenomenal job with this and for there to be a full cast with Christian Fox, Connor Crais, Jason Clarke, Savannah Thomas, Stella Hunter and Avery Caris. This series is gonna be amazing! Just when I thought there was no way I could fall for a new Montana family enter the Hendrix family!

Great book

Great book, the story did not drag , pace was perfect, spice was good , and the narrators were both great ! Would definitely recommend!

Tucker and Darby

Tucker has been going into a cafe just to see the waitress he only knows as D. Just as he's worked up his courage to ask her out, he finds out that she has quit and left town. Now five years later, Darby is a vet assistant and is going to do her internship at Tucker's ranch. He's still attracted to her but since she's like an employee, he can't act on his feelings. I really like how Tucker was so sensitive to Darby's feelings. He's so protective of her. She's overcome so much in her life and wants to prove herself. I really liked the way others from previous books are connected in this one. The narration in duet and multi-cast was perfect. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Great characters, minor reservations.

The characters were easily my favorite part of the book. I loved the combination of a movie star, a hockey player, a small-town law enforcement, and a veterinarian, and I’m already invested in this group of family and friends. The small-town setting was charming, and I can’t wait to see where the rest of the series goes. I also appreciated the trauma storyline. The heroine’s past was heartbreaking, but it wasn’t used to define every aspect of her personality. I did wish there had been a little more emotional depth surrounding everything she endured, and I wasn’t completely convinced by her path to becoming a veterinarian, but those were relatively minor issues. My only significant criticism was that the approach to the sexual relationships wasn’t really my style and occasionally felt inconsistent with the heroine’s experiences. Overall, this was an emotional, engaging read with characters I genuinely enjoyed spending time with. I’m definitely eager to continue the series and see where everyone’s stories go next.

It’s like going back home

I loved how she connects the families together. What an amazing story!! Ohh Darby and Tucker are so 🔥🔥🔥 ohh the swoon, the love, the passion, the spice and the heartwarming moments made this story so memorable.
