Great story line!! Bre Rose is so good!!

The characters are great. Even Wesley and Colton even if they were irritating. I love slow burn romance. And Sierra and Cyrus are adorable. It ends in a cliff hanger. I am already reading the 2nd book.

I was ecstatic to see this duet being brought to audio. I loved reading it, and it is a common reread for me! The narrator did a fantastic job, and really did these characters justice. I honestly forgot just how much I disliked Wes in this book, and the ending is still heartbreaking. I cannot wait for book 2 to come out!

A Reverse Harem done right with lots of angst

Against All Odds by Bre Rose is such a heartfelt, addictive read. I loved the story and especially the strong, relatable female protagonist, it’s easy to root for her from the start. The neighbor and little sister add so much warmth and charm, and I appreciated that all the male characters have redeeming qualities that make them genuinely likable. The playful nod to reading a reverse harem within a reverse harem story was a fun, clever touch. Overall, this book is emotional, engaging, and hard not to love. highly recommended for fans of RH and angst with some bully tossed in.

Rising Above

This story kept breaking my heart and stitching it back together. Sierra has suffered such loss and you can see the purity in her love for her sister. Her ability to suffer daily torment from an entire school of bullies and not give up is inspiring . She keeps focused on what she needs to do to strive for getting everything her sister needs to have the best childhood ever w/ the help of a neighbor. Suffering from shattered trust and betrayals from those who should be protecting them, the sudden appearance of new boys at school who want to be friendly makes her very suspicious, but the boys keeps pushing and add to that a coworker wanting to be friendly makes the secrets Sierra is hiding difficult to keep hidden. When the unthinkable happens and her coworker steps in to help can she trust him with more than just her heart?
I couldn't stop listening and can't wait to finish the story after being left hanging with the heart stopping cliffhanger.
