Great continuation

overall the book is great, it's a really good, fun, casual listen, but the second book in the series really stepped it up, i definitely enjoy this series and the author is fantastic, i have zero complaints and will continue on with this series til the very end. Also once again, these books make me both want to smoke a pipe and eat good.

Great second book!

I really enjoyed this installment! The writer’s skill seems to be getting better and better! The story is very engaging and the characters are likable and believable. The pipe smoking aspect is very refreshing for me as a fellow pipe smoker. The narrator does a great job of bringing the characters to life. I will definitely be listening to additional books.

the dungeon is fire

the things that worked in book 1 doubled in book 2. first the dungeon. the express section alone was worth going back and listening twice. but the relationship between the main 3 is the reason I love it. going straight into book 3

DNF, more pipes and tobacco...

DNF @ 22% The narrator is STILL mispronouncing "inventory". The author is STILL rambling on and on about pipes and tobacco. We STILL aren't learning anything about the "system". The main character STILL hasn't figured out the money system, is throwing money around like an idiot and making storage items for everyone and their mother, LITERALLY! Not to mention the ridiculous amount and type of things that he's storing in his. I could swear that his adoptive father said they needed to keep that information quiet and control who gets them and who knows about them. I'm bored with this and I just don't want to hear anymore yapping about pipes and their finishes.
