This was a great coming of age with Black leads

This is such a good book. At first I was not connecting with it but I am glad I kept going. There is a love triangle and I felt like I knew who the author preferred but then something would happen or be shown and I would not know for sure lol I liked all the secondary characters and I wish this had a second book lol the family drama is so good and relatable. anywho read this book!! I think it is relatable for anyone. I will be reading more of this author and the narrator is so great!! All the characters are so distinguishable!!

A well written piece

I love the fact that the story effortlessly flows. I could picture every scene, every moment. The story draws you in and there’s a connection with each character. It was a beautiful read, a beautiful read indeed. As an emotional person, I cried at the end. Happy tears tho
