Romantasy amazingness

What an amazing ride A Vow of Wrath and Ruin was from beginning to end and was just as amazing as A Curse Breath and Blood. Alexandra Hunter was phenomenal as Aelia, she was strong, oh so dangerous yet vulnerable . Gary Furlong as Tharan was just as rough and gravelly as you want from an MMC. K.W. Foster’s writing is exactly why I love diving in to fantasy/romantasy. The Mind Breaker series is just so immersive and the story so compelling you can’t help but love it. The ending/cliffhanger had me a crying broken mess, which means this book is freaking excellent. I shall count the days until A Queen of Death and Despair is released.

This book took me on a ride! A Vow of Wrath and Ruin gives drama, magic, tension, and a heroine who refuses to break even when the whole world is trying to! Aelia is fierce, the romance hits in all the right ways, and the twists had me sitting there like excuse me… what just happened?! The pacing dips here and there, but the payoff is absolutely worth it because that ending had me staring at the wall!

And the narrators? They nailed this performance! They didn’t just read the story, they pulled me straight into the world and made every moment feel real! The emotions, the tension, the chemistry… all of it was flawless. It felt like being dropped right into the middle of the story!

If you love fantasy with heat, heartbreak, and high stakes, this one delivers!

Darker Romastasy

So I went into this book completely blind and without reading the first book. It took me a minute to get caught up but once I figured things out, I could not stop listening to it. Aelia and Tharan had great chemistry and the spicy parts were very spicy. I am not a huge love triangle person but KW Foster did a good job of making it feel real and not too overdone. The plot of the story flowed nicely and you were able to follow Aelia, Tharan, and Caiden as they traveled and had their own adventures. While the spicy parts were there, it honestly was very minimal and the adventure and fantasy was the biggest parts. It does end on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read the next one to see what happens with Erissa and Aelia. 4.5 stars for me

The narration was well done. Both narrators brought the characters to life and it was pleasant to listen to. 5 stars for the narration..
