Great read!!

I’ve always worked at the hospitality industry, and this book had me nodding every five seconds. I remember having a coworker who was always anxious about his hours and trying to make ends meet so his daughter could go to college. He was a bit overweight and probably as old as my dad doing jobs he shouldn’t be doing. We worked at a famous hotel in Hollywood where our mental health wasn’t really taken serious. After the pandemic I found out Raul had died of a heart attack and didn’t go to the hospital because it was too expensive. Thank you for writing this book and defending the smaller people.

If you like "work" memoirs...

...current events, sociology, micro-histories, then this book is an easy listen that will never bore you. What would have made it 4 stars is a lot more actual journalism.
