Great book ,love the auther! Definitely a recommended book. All his work is amazing and very intriguing.

Solid paean to dark sky’s lots of good asides and images would have liked a map I guess of both the trip and the sky’s

Another excellent book

Another great book by this author, his stories are so candid, you are right there with him. I live in Las Vegas with family in Alamo so I knew where he was on his journey looking for dark remote skies with the mllions of stars. I urge anyone to listen to all his books. AA++!!

A timely journey of human's relationship with the night sky

One of my favorite of Child's works. I was reluctant to listen after noticing the narrator was a voice actor and not Childs himself. I still prefer Childs's readings of his own works but enjoyed the audio.
