immensely dark fantasy

I liked this audiobook, but I didn’t love it. The story was interesting enough to keep me listening, but it didn’t fully pull me in.

The female narrator was great and fit the character well. However, I didn’t enjoy the male narrator as much because he sounded older than the character, which made it harder to stay immersed.

I recommend this audiobook to fans of dark fantasy romance who don’t mind mixed narration styles.

A Strong Follow-Up in the Series

Book 2 in the Fated to the Sun and Stars series is a solid continuation of book one. The character development remains strong, with plenty of twists, turns, magic, and romance to keep the story engaging. The pacing felt just right—it never dragged—and the audiobook flew by. I’m definitely looking forward to listening to book three. Overall, 4.25/5.

Ana gains an unexpected sidekick ;)

The banter that I loved in book 1 did not miss a step here in book 2! As we dove more into this world it was interesting to see all the powers in play between the religious group, rebels and fae. Alister still remains my favorite character, but a certain furry friend is a close second.

If you’re reading this, you’ve already read book 1 and book 2 is definitely worth it. But…this book does end on a cliffhanger.

The dual narration was great, as both narrators have so much range with their voices.

Stellar Continuation

I was already in love with this series and once again the narrators, Jessie Elwyn and Christopher Andrews, knocked it out of the park. They just did everything rights - there was a depth of emotion, unique voices for the different side character, and an unexplainable something extra.

From the very first page, listeners are pulled in and are living each moment right next to the characters. It really says something to the talent of these narrators that I frequently found myself unable to multitask as I just wanted to listen and fully enjoy the life they brought to these already amazing book.

Cannot wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Love these books

Loved it so much. Zara hooked me from book #1 and I am loving every word of this story. More adventure. More drama and more wonderful storytelling.
