This Christmas small-town romance was everything I want in a holiday read—warm, gentle, and full of heart. The snowy setting felt like hugs from Olaf, with twinkling lights, community traditions, and neighbors who show up when it matters most.

The single dad hero was especially lovable: devoted, quietly strong, and doing his best for his boys, even when his own heart had been broken in the past. Watching him slowly open up—and seeing how much love and stability he brings to his family—made the romance feel meaningful and earned.

The love story unfolded at a sweet, unhurried pace, blending tender moments with festive charm. There were plenty of scenes that made me smile, a few that tugged at my heart, and just enough holiday magic to make everything feel hopeful without being over-the-top.

If you’re looking for a clean, feel-good Christmas romance with found family vibes, small-town warmth, and a single dad you can’t help but root for, this book is a perfect choice to curl up with by the tree. 🎄🎁✨📚

I absolutely loved this book

Ahh, I absolutely loved this book. This is probably one of my favorite books in this series, even though I am only book three in of this series so far. The story is great, and it features two adorable twin boys that will win your heart over.

Becca has a great personality to be a teacher. She is kind, caring, encouraging, and wants to see all her students succeed. After the rejection of their bio mother, this is exactly the type of person that Cal and Nick need in their lives. I liked the sweet and tender romance that bloomed between Zane and Becca.

Narrators, Amanda Stribling and Jameson Adams both do amazing jobs with narrating the audio version of this book. In fact, I got lost in their voices in a good way.

Sweet Surrender continues the charm of Sugarville Grove with another heartfelt Christmas romance. Becca arrives as a substitute teacher, only to unexpectedly become permanent when the teacher she’s covering for takes early retirement. New to town, Becca is passionate about her students and eager to make a difference.

Zane is a devoted single father raising his twin boys while working on his family’s dairy farm. With the help of his parents and the town, he’s built a loving, stable life for his sons. The twins quickly bond with Becca, but her progressive ideas and well-intentioned decisions challenge Zane, especially when choices are made without his input.

The chemistry between the narrators elevates this story. Amanda Stribling does a wonderful job portraying Becca’s strength, compassion, and growing love for the boys. Jameson Adams captures Zane’s softer side while maintaining his fierce protectiveness and deep devotion to his sons’ well-being.

This story reinforces the strong sense of community that defines Sugarville Grove and delivers a touching, emotionally satisfying listen. A lovely addition to the series.

A second chance at love that stole my heart. Becca has come to Sugarville Grove to replace a second grade teacher mid year. Not an easy task, but loving her job she jumps in with both feet. Meeting Zane, the father to twins and one in her class has caught her eye, but she is a professional and loves his kids. The first to notice things about them, she works to make their education better, but being the new girl on the block, she's not always taken seriously. That is until Zane begins to see just what her suggestions do for them. But that's not the only thing that has caught his eye. Her heart and effect on him too has made his heart open. But is she willing to be with an older, single dad who lives on a farm? Heartwarming from the start, this one is filled with all the villains and heroes that I expect, but keep me nostalgic. Loved their chemistry and the romance.

Amanda Stribling and Jameson Adams are fabulous together. Stribling is Becca, excited to start her own job, and her new life. She creates the most believable woman, with a heart of gold. Adams is Zane, a bit shy, and a lot protective. Together they are the magic that brings this story alive.

This is a wonderful audiobook. The performances were great and the story was terrific. I can't wait to listen to the next Summerville Grove story.
