A steamy Christmas romance with one house, two strangers, and zero chance of a silent night.

She came home to survive the holidays. He just needed a place to land. Neither expected to collide.

The last place Felicity wants to spend Christmas is back home. Her twin sister’s suddenly insistent that everyone return for the holidays, which can only mean one thing: the boyfriend Felicity introduced her to is about to become the fiancé. And with her own love life freshly wrecked, she’s in no shape to play supportive sibling.

With her old bedroom occupied and no desire to cry on the couch, Felicity books the last rental house in town. A little distance. A little breathing room. Maybe a little peace.

What she gets is Klaus.

Grumpy, gorgeous, and in her space.

Klaus’s life is a holiday disaster—his condo’s flooded, his credit’s frozen, and crashing with his brother’s family is a nightmare in the making. He thinks he’s lucked out with an empty rental... until a curvy, sharp-tongued stranger shows up at the door claiming the same house.

Then the blizzard hits.

The power flickers.

And suddenly there’s nowhere to go—but closer.

They were supposed to be strangers.

They were supposed to make it through the week.

But Christmas has a way of changing everything.

A warm, witty holiday romance about missed chances, magnetic sparks, and what happens when the weather outside is frightful—but the tension inside is irresistible.

This is book 2 of the Miller Sisters. In book one was Sarah's story this is her sister Felicity's story. I loved the cross over characters, the romance and the happy ever after ending. I could listen to this book over and over. It is funny, romantic and made me smile.

Rental Clause is the perfect follow up to "Date and Switch. This book is about Felicity and her wish for the perfect man. Such a great story of love, family and the getaway that wasn't what it was meant to be.

slow burn
forced proximity
age gap
steamy.

Bathtub Santa, Firecracker in boots! Haha! This snowed in age-gap is funny!
My one question at the start: is there food on the house? If she didn't go shopping, did the renter stock the house?
This author must be from the north! They just said 'pop' for a soda drink! I love it!
When you fact check something you hear in a book, and realize it's correct, the shock and awe is for real! I didn't know that shoveling heavy wet snow was the leading cause of heart attacks in the winter!
It's so adorable how the MMC stands up for the FMC!
Shiloh and Walker did amazing jobs performing this book and made me actually really like it!

Felicity and Klaus

A cute, funny, insta-love, holiday story. These two meet when Felicity walks into Klaus taking a bath at the Airb&b she rented. He didn't know that his brother rented the place and he thought he would stay there because his pipes bursted. Then a huge snow storm has them trapped for a couple days. I enjoyed listening to this story and the narrators did a good job. Also like that it was set mostly in Chicago where I was born and raised so I knew a lot of the references that were made.

What happens when life keeps giving you problems? Both Felicity and,Klaus, have hit the bottom of their respective barrels this Christmas. Neither are receptive to meeting someone new to add to their list. An awkward meeting with them getting along like cats and dogs doesn't bode well.

Fate throws in a blizzard resulting in neither one being able to leave the house Felicity has rented. Her plan to have a safe retreat away from her family, namely her twin who is in the midst of a blissful romance, during this Christmas visit it blown to pieces. Klaus, and his brother have been renting out their deceased parents' home because they can't let go of a piece of their past.

A détente is reached, and they slowly get to know one another with little else to do stuck by the storm. By the end of Felicity's stay, the question is where do we go from here with her return to NYC?

The 5 hour narration does a great job of bringing the characters to life. I didn't want the story to end. Duel voice narrators interact well. There is a bonus chapter of Bryce and Sera, Felicity's twin sister.
