This is a sweet read

Abby is a dear heart to drop everything to become primary guardian for her late cousin's two children, Sophie and Jack. Abby and Luke bounding over their situations and children was endearing. Luke is a golden retriever. I liked him.

Ahh, this is a sweet read. I am enjoying the town of Sugarville Grove. There is not really much physical contact between Abby and Luke other than some kissing. Yet, the story was strong enough that I did not mind the low heat level. May I suggest through grabbing the audio version of this book. It is duet narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Eric Michael Summerer and they both are great on the audiobook. They really brought the story alive with their voices.

Maple blended family

Heartwarming feel good story

A new series written by two different authors during the same time period and the Christmas season. Both can be read as a standalone, but there are some hints in both books of what will be in the other story.
Abby’s world has turned upside down with news that her beloved cousin has passed. Leaving her guardian of a five year old and 9 year old and having no experience at all with children she afraid of what the future holds. She leaves behind everything and drives cross country to do the right thing, even though she is terrified she will mess up. But the small town and great neighbors help guide her through all the heartache and learning to be a parent. Her teenage crush still lives next door.
Luke is a single dad now and has it altogether. Although he doesn’t believe that is true.
A beautiful heartbreaking story that did require a tissue or two. I so enjoyed the book that I also listened to the audiobook and the narration was excellent! The narrators bought the characters to life, plus made my work day pass quickly. This book and narration was wonderful. It was very sweet and wholesome. I love Tess Thompson and I'm glad these books finally made it to Audible. I can't wait for the rest of the series.

Cute small town romance!!

I got to listen to the audiobook and absolutely loved it! This is book two of the sugarville Grove series and it follows Abigail and Luke’s story. The hardship of learning how to take care of her deceased cousins children was absolutely emotional and beautiful. Luke was the absolute sweetest and I completely understand why he wanted to guard his heart at first. Their immediate connection was absolutely beautiful! Maxine Mitchell and Eric Michael summerer did absolutely amazing with narration. The perfect cute small town romance with Christmas vibes. Theres no spice but it’s still really good!
