Long winded

I don't think i've ever heard a book drone on more about stuff that's completely irrelevant to the entire story.

enjoyed the characters and the story , a nice pace following a story with purpose , the next installment will be read with great interest indeed.

Not a bad story set up pretty fun good for mid story diversion

If you're going to use auto reading for the books spell out stuff Critical instead of CRT Etc You can get used to the robotic reading but the stats are hard to sit through

The story going from weak bullied MC to OP MC is one I find to be acceptable. It is a rather common plot line. The virtual voice used was of better quality than usual. My one main complaint is it seems excessively wordy at times, going on and on about the alien system's philosophy and/or the minute details of the current situation even when thugs attack. I like the MC and am not against the success of the books. This is just my honest assessment of book one.
