Teenagers Bryan and Tommy are in for the wildest summer of their lives. What was supposed to be a summer job at a remote nature preserve turns into nonstop adventures on Danger Island.

Del, a young but capable no-nonsense local girl, knows every inch of the island. When she insists on joining Bryan and Tommy, the boys aren’t exactly thrilled. But soon, they learn to value her knowledge of the island.
As they dodge real-life danger — both animal and human — Bryan, Tommy, and Del must grapple with solving an enduring mystery that has haunted Del's family for 25 years.
