Princess finds her castle

Set aside my unicorn London or NYC, Now I wanna be in Sugarville Grove for Christmas. Every thing about this places oozes warmth, positivity. People are loving and generous. Enough to help feed and shelter a destitute girl on the run. Dulcie Bloom is like a fairytale princess whose broken down chariot aka clunker car, slides into a ditch on a frozen evening. Her Prince Charming aka dr west Lawrence rescues her and takes her under his protection. His daughter Elizabeth takes to her new filler nanny immediately and life is hunky-dory all around, till her dark past comes rushing by.
I just get giddy reading these hope-filled cute stories and this one checked all the boxes.

Book 5 in the Sugarville Grove Series

If there was one word to sum up the Sugarville Grove Series, it is HOPE.

Hope for those that think they have lost their way - not just in love but in life.
Ma'am, Clara Pines, you have made an ART (which all authors are artists) in these books (you and Tess!)

I feel like an overwhelming pull for my "Sweet Home." The narrators make you feel the warmth and depth that this story holds, all the while making their own journeys. Making home feel even sweeter.

The best wholesome romance

I swear this series can’t get any better but with every book it does! West and dulcies story was an emotional one! What he did for dulcie and her sister was absolutely amazing! Shiloh James and lance greenfield did absolutely amazing with narration. West was such a sweet generous man and dulcie was so patient and caring. The bond dulcie and wests daughter Elizabeth formed was beautiful and her being able to help the little girl come out of her shell was beautiful. This story had me tearing up just alittle. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series!

Cozy Christmas feels

Sweet Home by Clara Pines is book five in the Sugarville Grove series and is performed in dual narration by Shiloh James and Lance Greenfield.

We meet Dulcie, a mysterious woman just passing through town, who ends up stranded after an accident. Enter West—a single dad and the town’s small-town doctor—called in to check on her. To Dulcie, Sugarville Grove feels like a dream: a town full of warmth, wonder, and the tight-knit community she’s always longed for. West, instantly taken by her beauty and spirit, begins to imagine a future with her, wondering if she could be exactly what his little girl needs.

But Dulcie has a past, and a few skeletons threaten the possibility of a fresh start—for both her and her sister. This is a beautifully written story about second chances at life, love, and family, filled with so much wholesome goodness. I absolutely loved it.

The narration was nothing short of incredible. Shiloh James is quickly becoming one of my favorite female narrators—her emotional delivery, versatility, and ability to truly embody her characters is outstanding. This was my first listen with Lance Greenfield, and he was fantastic. He brought West to life so naturally, highlighting his kindness, patience, and heart. Together, they truly elevated this story.

Fan of Shiloh James & Lance Greenfield

I briefly met West and his daughter, Elizabeth in a prior book. It was nice to get to see them again with their own story. Elizabeth is a cutie pie. I could not help but instantly fall in love with her. West has a very kind heart. The way that he helped Dulcie but without pushing her for information of why she was in Sugarvillle Grove but at the same time allowing her to find her confidence was endearing.

Which Dulcie was timid in the beginning. Yet as the story progressed, she broke out of her shell more and it was lovely to see. She and West were lovely together but I really liked the close bond that Dulcie and Elizabeth shared.

I have been working my way through this series via the audiobooks. This one is performed in dual narration by Shiloh James & Lance Greenfield. Both new to me narrators. Yet, this will not be the last time I listen to both of their voices.
