Definitely creepy. Quite the listen, great characters and narrator.

Listening to the JR books wisp me away out of the normal daily grind. So interesting and great characters. Creepy but also nice to enjoy how the characters bond together to settle angry spirits .

The excellent story telling

This was a true, old fashioned ghost story! I loved every minute and would recommend to others.

The Best Ghost Story!!!

Literally the best classic haubted house stoey I have read in a long time. The writing weaves all the character backgrounds together seamlessly. And the narrator was perfection. Not overly read. It is everything I want in a book: haunted house, psychic mediums, cute tarot reading gift shop.

Awesome as always. One of the scariest and creepiest! Which I Love! I LOVE THE ENDING and can't wait! But I'm also soooo nervous about how the beginning of the next book may start. I just want Celeste to take another case and for it to be spooky and awesome.

Sooooo Good!

I absolutely loved this story, and the audiobook experience made it even better. The narration was superb—engaging, emotionally on point, and it pulled me in from the very beginning. The writing itself is gorgeous, with vivid descriptions and layers of intrigue that keep unfolding in such a satisfying way.

I actually listened to this one out of order from the rest of the series, and I was still able to follow what had happened previously without feeling lost. That said, I’m definitely going back to read/listen to this author’s other books.
So good I didn’t want it to end. I cannot wait for the next book.
