Great story, great narration, I could listen over and over.

I read this book when it first came out and loved it. The narrators selected for this audiobook made me love this story even more! Carver is forever in my top book boyfriends.

this book was a solution amazing. reading it was amazing, but listening to them was even better. these 2 narrators did an amazing job bringing this characters to life. loved it all !!

New Favorite Author & Narrator

After listening to My Rose, this author has been on my radar. After this listen, there is no question that I will buy any audios released. I also have a new favorite narrator in Hammock. This is a top three listen for me this year.

I knew I was going to love this. I was shocked that I loved it even more than I expected to. Lyra and Carver are…so good. They have flaws, they’re hurt, and they aren’t the greatest people all the time. But this makes them *real* and I absolutely love that. The plot with the marriage contract and getting Lyra back into Carver’s life flowed so well and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. From trying to figure out why Lyra left originally to wtf was going to happen with Jamie, this book had me enamored from start to finish.

Plus, the spice? Some of my favorite spice to read. I knew I liked the way Elsa wrote spice from My Rose, and this didn’t disappoint in the slightest! Bondage, dub con, chasing, edging…man, this has a bit of everything and it was perfect! You also can’t beat every time Carver says “my wife.” Who doesn’t love a good “my wife” moment?

Lyra is misunderstood by everyone in town and I loved seeing her get some redemption and feeling of being safe in the town again. Carver “settled down” when no one expected it. It was flawless character growth (of flawed characters, nonetheless!) and this will be a book that stays in my head for a long, long time.

Finally, the narrators were absolutely amazing. I always love an MMC with a southern accent and he did not disappoint. I was kicking my feet every time I heard him say Sweetheart. Kate was absolutely amazing at the emotional parts of the story and it made my feelings even bigger. Truly an amazing performance by both narrators!

Highly recommend. A must listen as well. Do not skip this one!
