Famous rapper Villain and his rowdy entourage are headed to his bachelor party in Brazil when his private jet crashes on a remote island.

The only survivors are he and Ariana, the beautiful, older, no-nonsense in-flight concierge who can't stand him.

Stranded with no rescue in sight, they have no choice but to work together if they want to survive. What begins as a fragile truce soon ignites into passion and forges a path to trust, understanding, and a love neither of them expected to find.

But when rescue finally comes, reality hits hard—the headlines, the scrutiny, their grief, and the fiancée and boyfriend they left behind.

Ultimately, they realize they have to decide: Will they return to the lives they once knew, or fight for the new life they built together on that island?

This had me locked in immediately and couldn’t stop. Loved the story. Loved how their bond was so well written, one of my favorites this year. Great narration as well. 10/10 would absolutely recommend 🙌🏾❤️

I'm not the biggest fan of the narrators but eventually I tune them out and focus on the story. I love this story so much!

this is my favorite book of 2025

Really good book. Loved the plot. Great character development for Villain & Ari. Villain grew up a lot and Ari became less controlling and relied heavily on Vincent. Writing could have felt more immersive. The rescue and after island was a bit rushed; could’ve made it a book 2. I’d recommend it and will listen to it again.

The only mistake I caught was when he put the car in park then pulled over on the highway 🤣 but the character development was on point. The way this book kept me smiling and appreciating the beauty of their connection, while also hating the tragedy they suffered was on point! I liked how everything played out in a way that felt natural and allowed me to enjoy the process. I cried, laughed, got wet, and just smiled at the beauty.

Perfect Story
