THE STORM IS THE CAGE. THE PACK IS THE WARDEN.

Forty miles from civilization, a Department of Corrections transport bus hits black ice and disappears into the ravine below. The wreck leaves a handful of survivors broken, bleeding, and buried in a whiteout so thick it erases the world.

But the cold isn’t the only thing hunting them.

Deep in the valley, a massive timber wolf pack has found the crash site. They are hungry, they are patient, and they are tracking the scent of fresh blood.

Kincaid, a robber just trying to finish his time, wants to save the wounded. Ryker, a lifer with ice in his veins, has a different plan.

Ryker knows the group is too slow. He knows the blizzard is too strong. And he knows the only way to survive is to balance the equation. He calls it the Cold Math: You don't have to outrun the wolves. You just have to feed them.

As the sun sets and the pack closes in, Kincaid realizes the true threat isn't the teeth in the dark. It’s the man walking beside him.
