amazing characters and world building

I just love T Kingfisher. There isn't filler, but the world she builds is so rich. I love how she plays with lore and morality tales and interpersonal relationships. Just a delightful read, and the narrator was great. I really felt immersed in this world throughout.

Beautifully written

T kingfisher will always be my favorite writer. The characters and deep emotions that connect you to her novels never leave me but amazed. I want to thank her once again for leaving me with yet another story that I will always keep with me, tucked into that place right behind my ribs

A book of love

I notice a theme in T. Kingfisher’s novels: Any romantic relationships bloom second to a discovery of self. The strong female protagonists become stronger through recognition of the false notes in any internal or external voices of doubt. They prove themselves worthy to themselves, and in so doing, prove that they are worthy of more. That “More” could be a better romantic partner or a better vision of the future. Because fox yeah, they are.
I find these messages to be so beautiful and uplifting in a world filled with messages systematically designed to make little of women and girls.

And yet even though this is a common theme, each book I’ve read is a new bloom of world and character building that is a page-turning delight.

Another great Kingfisher

Another fun fantasy adventure from Kingfisher. I loved all the characters we met. The only reason this one didnt get 5 stars was because it felt a bit more broad than some of her other stories. But she is still an instant buy writer for me:)

For children

It’s for younger audience. I really liked her other book “the snake eater”. But this sounds childish for mature audience.
