Rebels of Alpha Prime

For the past century, the military has exercised its control over the citizens of Earth, having deceived the public of their true intentions for generations while the 2nd moon of Jupiter had been transformed into a prison planet where robot drone ships have been dumping their convicted criminals.
In a desperate attempt to cover their own underhanded deals and illicit operations, the Confederation Council sent a group of green recruits on a secret mission to the forsaken wastelands of Europa to retake the penal colony. After discovering they had been used as expendable puppets and marked as registered convicts, their commander left them abandoned on the frozen moon. Having thwarted the plans of the Confederation while avoiding certain death by the bloodied hands of the local inmates, they evade the clutches of the corrupt military operatives and escape with their lives. Now they must save Earth's interstellar colonists on a distant world and fend off the rogue Confederate troops that appear hell-bent on seeking revenge.
