Duet narration - Molly Briar & PG Hammock

I enjoyed this high angst, spicy, dark and thrilling book. The story is overall entertaining and captivating.

Cobra is one hell of a man. He is gentle and smooth while giving off the touch her and die vibes. Teri is a FMC that has been through a lot coming out broken but stronger.

Overall a great read for dark romance fans

A second chance at love

This was intense! I could feel the pain and sadness that Teri was keeping inside. This was an emotional one for me. The infertility part hit hard. I felt the emotions and pain in this one.

The VA is amazing! Molly and PG did an amazing Job! This audiobook was the best way to start 2026.

Exhilarating and so dang good

This book was fantastic. I loved the my wife component. It was done very well in this. I was fully immersed from the first chapter listening to it. The main characters were perfection with their flaws and all. There is suspense, danger, romance, twist and turns with just the right amount of action. The emotions in this came across as real and raw making the characters believable. And the plot is well crafted. An exhilarating listen from start to finish. I absolutely loved this book.
The narrators P. G. Hammock and Molly Briar were phenomenal. Their voices were spot on for the characters. You could feel the emotions, the tension, the complexities, just everything that made these characters who they were in this book. This is an unput-downable listen. It's one of those you just want to savor and take your time listening to. And not only that it's delivers a very compelling story. I hands down recommend listening to this it does not disappoint.

Great narration, okay story

Both narrators did a wonderful job. But the story dragged and there was very, very little spice.

This narration is what truly shines here. Molly Briar delivers a raw, emotional performance as Teri—you can hear her pain and the walls she’s built, even when her silence had me frustrated and thinking she really needed to tell Cobra what happened (SMH). PG Hammock, a new-to-me narrator, was excellent as Cobra, bringing steady protectiveness, regret, and deep devotion to the role.

I was hooked from the first chapter, and the narration made this an immersive, emotional listen. Huge thanks to the author for this ALC! 🎧
