  • Dealing With Doubt Pt.2 // Vernon Gordon
    Apr 26 2026

In this message, "DEALING WITH DOUBT pt. 2," we confront the slow drift from disappointment to doubt to deconstruction to distance, and discover how to interrupt the cycle before it pulls us under. Rooted in 1 Kings 19, the message reframes salvation not merely as being made safe but as being made whole, reminding us that pain doesn't scare God, performance does. We're walked through the stages of faith development and shown why so many believers never make it past the Wall, that dark night of the soul where our image of God is too small to hold our hardest experiences. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 and Revelation 12:11, we're reminded that spiritual health and emotional health are inseparable, and that if we skip honesty, we sabotage healing. Psalm 84:5-7 anchors the closing truth, that the text does not promise an alternate route but an alternate outcome. The path forward is Truth, Testimony, and Tribe, because distance doesn't just make us lonely, it makes doubt louder.

  • Dealing With Doubt // Vernon Gordon
    Apr 19 2026

In this message, “Dealing With Doubt,” we confront the tension that often follows disappointment in our faith journey. Rooted in John 21:1–7, this sermon reveals how doubt is often the result of discipleship that did not meet expectations. As the disciples return to fishing after the resurrection, we see a powerful picture of what happens when disappointment pushes us back to what is familiar instead of forward in what is faithful. Through the lens of Luke 5:4–10, we uncover how our defaults are revealed in difficult seasons, and how doubt can lead to distance if left unaddressed. This message challenges the idea that faith eliminates pain, reminding us instead that Christianity is not the absence of pain but the addition of promise. Exploring the stages of faith development and “the wall” many believers face, we discover that God can handle our questions, but we were never meant to walk through them alone. Ultimately, we are given three practical ways to navigate doubt: truth, testimony, and tribe, learning that while waiting may wear down our worship, God is still at work in the process, calling us to trust Him beyond what we feel and return to the life He has called us to live.

  • I'll Believe It When I See It // Jairod Barnes
    Apr 12 2026

In this message, “I’ll Believe It When I See It,” we confront one of the most honest tensions in our faith journey: doubt. Rooted in John 20:24–31, this sermon explores the story of Thomas and reminds us that faith is not something we demand, but something we develop. Through the teachings of Jesus, we see how little faith often shows up in worry, fear, and doubt, yet it does not mean the absence of faith, it means growing faith. We examine how faith is strengthened through trials and challenges, and how God’s desire is to form a faith that remains humble on the mountaintop and hopeful in the valley. Challenging the misconception that doubt disqualifies us, this message reveals that even disciples wrestled with doubt, and that God does not condemn us in our uncertainty, but draws us closer. Ultimately, we discover practical steps for navigating seasons of doubt by learning to read, remember, and reflect, trusting that even when we struggle to believe, Jesus is still willing to meet us right where we are.
