Elizabeth has married, become widowed, and borne a son very young. Her marriage was against the wishes of her father. Even though he had been a good man, Mr. Bennet thought him too young at 19 to marry. Her son is Ben, an adorable and very precocious five-year old, who plays at being a knight, Sir Lancelot. One day, upon his rambles, he encounters King Arthur. Elizabeth and Darcy meet at the Meryton assembly, and an undeniable attraction begins. The problem—Elizabeth is engaged to another. Can Darcy make her see the error of her choice? A secondary issue is Anne, who is determined to marry Darcy. I really enjoyed the story and loved little Ben. There is a new Collins character. Good narration by Pearl Hewitt. Her childlike Ben was well done.
