Coraline Sterling inherits her late father’s ranch, only to discover a cruel stipulation: marry within thirty days or lose the ranch to her estranged cousin. Desperate, Cora claims a husband who doesn't exist—then sends for a stranger to play the part. When a baby is left at her doorstep, she never imagined that a man and a child would turn her world upside down.

Sawyer Hayes never planned to be anyone’s husband, especially not a pretend one. After the fire that took his family and the lies that followed, he’s been drifting, searching for peace. When he enters Cora’s barn, he never expected a fierce woman and a baby would make him want to stay…

With a ruthless mining magnate and Cora’s cousin closing in, Cora and Sawyer must stand together to protect an innocent child and save her ranch. Their marriage began as a lie—but surviving what's coming will demand a truth neither is ready to admit.

Tropes: Mail-order groom, Fake Marriage, Abandoned Baby, Forced Proximity

"A Bride Worth More Than Diamonds" is a historical western romance novel of approximately 80,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

I enjoyed this story. A young woman needs a husband in order to inherit her father’s ranch. Entering into a marriage with a man she barely knows, she still faces obstacles from her cousin who is determined to do anything to see that she doesn’t inherit the property. Threats are all around as Cora, her husband and ranch hands try to solve mysterious deaths and why someone is forcing property owners all around to sell their property.

My only complaint about the audiobook is the virtual voice is monotonous and made me wish the book would hurry up and end. READ the book instead. You will enjoy it more.
