I kiss and tell, then profit from it. He's the first man I want to keep off the page…
My ex destroyed my life and my ability to write a single decent sentence. So I do what any desperate romance author with a contract on the line would do…take a workcation. I rent a bubble gum pink cottage in a touristy town and promise myself no distractions.
Then I meet my temporary landlord.
He has a jawline that belongs on a warning label and the kind of confidence that tells me he breaks hearts for a living. Each morning he makes me coffee and has me laughing. Every night I write scenes I swear aren't about him. Even I know better.
I've built my entire career writing about my relationships. Every man. Every crush. Every heartbreak. Every dirty little detail.
My readers are going to love him. That's exactly what I'm afraid of.

The moment Ezra meets Scarlett, he knows he’s in trouble. Completely captivated by her beauty and quick wit, he conveniently takes time away from his pottery shop under the guise of working on new projects. In reality? He’s looking for every excuse to spend time with and maybe secretly spy on his intriguing new tenant.
This forced proximity romance is packed with instant attraction, playful chemistry, and a fun secret identity twist that kept me hooked. Samantha Summers and Ryan Lee Dunlap brought Scarlett and Ezra to life beautifully, making the audiobook an easy, enjoyable listen.

Love this book! Lyra has done it again…amazing characters, beautiful setting and incredible journey to love. Scarlett comes across as standoffish and not very nice…initially…but there are reasons. As the story progressed and we learned about her past, insecurities and career, I really loved her. She’s driven, snarky and a person who needs to be felt loved. “Sometimes it’s not about needing someone. It’s about wanting them. Wanting them so much it aches in places you didn’t think could feel anymore.” Ezra is AMAZING! He may be my new favorite character from Lyra. He’s flirty, pushing but is an amazing caregiver, encourager and cheerleader. He has his own pain he’s working through but he focuses on Scarlett to help him work through his pain. “She may have come here to write a book, but it feels like she’s rewriting me instead.” These two are so amazing together. I love their banter, chemistry and their journey to love. Aunt Millie is such a treat. She’s hilarious, loving and a bit pushy. lol. Her letter to Scarlett is so sweet.
Fabulous story with amazing narration

Omg this was even better in audio as it was read. I laughed so hard and said oh my god out loud so many times... especially when her phone was left on record 😂🤭...
I just love this small town story!

I had started the ebook, but quickly realized this would be better on audiobook. I was not wrong, Samantha and Ryan were the perfect cast for these characters and gave a deeper emotional feel to the story.

Scarlett and Ezra were equal parts sweet and romantic and so, so incredibly hot together. I loved that Scarlett was so unabashedly sensual and that Ezra was all too happy to feed her desires, or rather “o-coins.”
This was such a unique take on a romance inside a romance, and Scarlett living out the HEA as she was she was writing it was beautiful. If ever two people deserved to find happiness and healing it’s Ezra and Scarlett. These two were absolutely perfect for one another. Their instant connection was so believable because of the passion between them, and as the little ways their past and present crossed over the years played out, there was no doubt they ended up exactly where they were supposed to - when they were supposed to.
I am booked on Scarlett & Ezra forever!
