Francis has a loveless, and sexless marriage and has been unhappy for as long as she can remember. She feels the need for excitement and hopes the challenge of this new job opportunity will do just that as she has been in a rut for far too long.
Francis is in her early forties but looks at least five years younger. She is the youngest of three children, but the only one to look after their ill ageing parents, while her siblings got on with their lives.
Her older brother is living abroad, and her younger sister is living in another part of the country with a business to look after.
So, with going to work, looking after her own family, of a husband, and three grown up children, along with caring for her parent’s, and just generally putting other people before herself, life has just seemed to pass her by.
But lately she keeps finding herself both thinking, and even dreaming of Annie, someone special from her past.
Memories of the magical time they spent together, the laughs, the fun, and the good times in general, and more importantly the time spent being intimate.
Francis longs to feel wanted again, and she also would not mind having her sexual needs taken care of either.
With her parents now both passed away and her husband, who, she feels guilty for neglecting, is having yet another affair, something for which she blames herself for, so nothing has changed.
This job opportunity that has come her way in another part of the country will mean taking her away from home for at least the next two to three months.
Francis decided to accept the job offer, and is now ready to re start her life, using this as a springboard to do just that. Little did she know just how her life was going to change in such a short amount of time while working after hours with Amy, who is ten years younger.
The meeting of Amy had given Francis a new lease of life making her confidence return. Francis now felt ready for anything life was going to throw at her, but was she ready for Annie to unexpectedly return in her life?
With a meeting with Annie finally planned so they can speak about the past, will this lead to having each other in their lives again, or will it lead to the closure they both need?
