T L Swan
Book two of the Stanton series in the follow up from the gripping debut novel by T L Swan, Stanton Adore.
Unconditional love, does it really exist or is it an urban myth.
What does it really mean?
Do you love someone because of their flaws? Or in spite of them.
And at what point are the conditions more to bear than the love is worth.
This is what I’m trying to decipher, this is my story, I’ll let you be the judge.

Plenty of action & drama, angst, drug overdose, temper tantrums, omission of truth, manipulation, loss of a parent, betrayal, cheating, twists, incorporating secondary characters and their story lines and self discovery,
Writing a blurb is definitely difficult because there is so much to comment on you would end up writing a book about this book. HA!
Some highlights:
Josh: immature, temperamental, demanding, impatient, irrational, controlling, too much pride and an ego easily bruised. He could not accept, understand or acknowledge Natasha’s feelings, only his. Totally wrong of him to call her “Bitch” more than once and expect her to accept it without apologizing. That’s a NO! He wants Respect but doesn’t give it.
He wants her to love him unconditionally no matter how many times he hurts her.
but he cannot do the same. Expects her to accept him letting other women touch him, flirting, he touching and flaunting with women. That’s just a no!
He does not communicate with Natasha.
Some of his favorite sayings:
it was just once, they mean nothing, a stress relief,
Listen to me, not how it looks, don’t ask questions you don’t want the answers to,
used escorts at least 4 to 5 times a week plus one night stands, verbally said & did hurtful things and gave no thought or understanding to what she may be feeling or going through. He let an other woman live at the horse ranch in the master suite, said he loved her, a good friend, he admitted to Natasha that if he wasn’t in love with her maybe he would have an interest in her - never gave it a thought, yet he did have sex with her at the ranch when he promised to be monogamous with Natasha. Kept that a secret! When the woman informed Natasha and everyone else knew about the secret he made her a fool!!!!!!!
Natasha does communicate more to Josh, is always being mentally hurt by him, has to accept anything and everything from him and she runs away from the problem. She has trouble with his life style, bodyguards, needs to more maturing,
and is falling apart especially after the death of her father. Josh punishes her for leaving she accepts it, never makes him grovel and always apologizes. Her love for him is killing her and after analyzing herself she realizes she has become her patients. She does not follow her own advice and feels what her patients feel.
Absolutely enjoyed the story it gave me the emotions I was looking for.
Ended too quickly with a cliffhanger!
Disappointed there isn’t another audible.
Narrators did a great job.
I already have Cameron’s story and throughly enjoyed. All the brothers are promiscuous thats for sure.
You need to read/listen the story to find out all the good stuff in between, so much left out.
