Gracie is a professional disaster. When she drunkenly crashes a lavish wedding to save her best friend from a bad match, she trips, bites the groom on the neck, and passes out.

Oops.

In werewolf law, a bite is a Claim.

The groom is Nikos, the Alpha Prime of Europe. He was dreading this arranged marriage, and Gracie’s teeth just gave him the perfect out. He declares the chaotic, hungover human his "True Mate" to escape pack politics.

Now Gracie is whisked away to a private Greek island with a man who looks like a pirate and growls like an engine.

The deal? Play the doting mate for a month. The reality? Nikos is possessive, touch-starved, and determined to make the fake claim real.

Between sun-drenched beaches and moonlit chases, Gracie realizes that being bitten back is actually the best part.

Even though the book read as rushed and incomplete it was still a good story. The first half of it came across as more of an outline and didn't seem fleshed out until the last 2 chapters. Although I kind of question the whole tripping and falling on someone and their teeth just happened to end up embedded in the skin of their neck. I now live in fear of someone else's clumsiness while out in public. The VV was a NIGHTMARE. It was all over the place. Talking in falsetto sporadically at the wrong times while narrating Nikos's character or vice versa. That was the other issue, using the same feminine voice for both male and female characters. If the voice is virtual shouldn't it be able to change from male to female without issue. The multiple mispronunciations of many many words. Disjointed reading and punctuation, like pronouncing the word portal as port hole making it sound like something dirty, and SO MUCH MORE. Classic example of bad narration ruining a story with potential. If you can manage to overlook the VV then go for it. Fortunately, it's part of the Audible Plus library so no credits were harmed in subjecting myself to this unfortunate experience. If it weren't for that...I'd recommend going with the book.
