They called it a comet.

He called it a warning.

Everyone else called it the end.

The Black Swan Event continues with Book Two from international bestselling author, Bobby Akart, one of America’s favorite storytellers, who has delivered up-all-night thrillers to over two million readers in 245 countries and territories worldwide.

Twenty-two anomalies.

Seven synchronized pulses.

A trajectory that corrects itself.

When Dr. Emily Pickett prepares to present evidence that 4I/SWAN may not be natural, threats follow. And the scientific establishment closes ranks.

Meanwhile, her brother, Daniel, uncovers proof that powerful forces have been monitoring the object since its discovery and their family for even longer than that.

Five days. That’s all the time the Pickett family has before an interstellar object designated 4I/SWAN makes its closest approach to Earth. The conspiracy they uncovered was just the beginning. Now comes the catastrophe.

But as debris rains down and the world fractures into chaos, one terrifying possibility becomes impossible to ignore. The comet isn’t just passing through. It’s breaking apart. And what it leaves behind will rewrite the rules of civilization.

Black Swan Book Two is the devastating second installment in the four-book Black Swan Event series—a collision of hard science fiction, disaster thriller, and conspiracy suspense that will have you whispering just one more chapter until the very end.

I loved this book. There were a couple of places where I thought it would've been a "no Brainer" for Bud to bestow firearms to his kids, but I'm a typical "armchair quarterback." Great book!

Great science development

Narrator good and clean production.

One thing that is not taken into consideration during this book is the rotation of the Earth. They act like that they can be up 24 hours a day watching the same spot in the sky, but the Earth turns all the way around every day. Other than that story is good, and the characters are connectable. Looking forward to the next one. At the time of my listening number four and number five have not yet been written, but they are scheduled and I am looking forward to them.

Very good , Recommend to read first one before this one.

While the story is interesting, The repetition was monotonous. in addition, the narrator I found difficult to understand at times too deep a voice. Unlike previous Akart books which are excellent this one not so much. Two books in, could easily fit in one with all the duplicate backstory, etc.

Good story, poor narration

I was given this audiobook for free, and I freely give it my opinion.
The narrator preforms in a totally stellar way! He brings the book to life! The story is presented in a way that is easily relatable.

The authors attention to detail, and the building of the situations at hand.

Didn’t tie up all threads. Why a minimum amount of words when fewer will do?

Nothing🤩
