Can I Move to Gold Hill Too?

The Counterpart adds more memorable characters — Estella, Eloise, and their supporting cast — to the Gold Hill Series. I only wish I could meet these wonderfully complex individuals, and join their ranks. Katherine Littrell again delivers a spot on narration.

Love the way Ruby writes

I really enjoyed the depth of character in the MCs for The Counterpart—there’s a lot of emotional complexity here that kept me hooked. That said, Ribbonwood still holds the top spot for me with Ruby's books. And, as always, Katherine Littrell’s narration was absolute perfection. She is firmly in my top 5 narrators—her voice brings such life to the story. She has such a distinct voice that really helps bring those Australian settings and characters to life for me. :)

Total Package

This book…. Where to even start?! First off, I LOVE the Ruby Landers and Katherine Littrell combo. Ribbonwood, Only Hope and now Counterpart. These books have the most epic character depth, brought to life by an addicting Aussie accent. This one in particular though, has it all. Comedy, romance, danger, trauma, blisteringly hot chemistry!! I don’t really know what more you could want. I can’t stop thinking about Estella and Ellie. Will definitely revisit this one many times over.

In depth plot

This was a great read. Very exciting and loaded with plot changes and additions. There was a lot of information brought out in the book but it was dealt out in bits and pieces. When I thought the story was winding up I looked to see how much time was left for the narration and saw that it was over two hours. I was dumbfounded and wondered how Ms Landers would draw out the plot. I was very pleasantly surprised at just how cleverly she put a couple more plot twists in within that last 2 hour span. Excellent book and I really enjoyed the narration.
